Wren Academy will operate the proposed new secondary school on the Chase Farm site.
Wren Academy is a coeducational (mixed gender) school which has developed into one of the most successful schools in the country. Under the leadership of Gavin Smith, Executive Principal the school has gained three ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted reports with GCSE progress results placing the school in the top 2% in the country.
The high academic outcomes combined with a strong pastoral focus have created a highly successful school whose success will be replicated in a new context on the Chase Farm site.
As at Finchley, the school will be sponsored by the Church of England and Berkhamsted, one of Britain’s leading independent school communities.
